TECH Truck (will be here February 6, 2018)

The TECH Truck brings hands-on discovery directly to the youth of Wise
County on Tuesday, November 14, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the RHOME PUBLIC LIBRARY.

Walk-up activities that range from 10 – 20 minutes will provide hands-on experiences. Activities include 3D Printing Demo & 3D Pen Activity; build your own Vibrobot; and other fun activities.

The Perot Museum brings the inspiration and innovation of the Museum into communities via the TECH Truck—a mobile discovery lab where you can Tinker, Engineer, Create and Hack right in your own neighborhood. The goal of the TECH Truck is to engage youth in hands-on, maker-based science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) experiences that foster creativity and confidence. Kids and caregivers share the thrill of discovery that’s so essential to fostering confidence and creativity in STEAM subjects.

The TECH Truck currently travels 60 miles from the Perot Museum throughout North and Central Texas. Fortunately, the Rhome Public Library, located within the 60 mile traveling distance, provides this opportunity for the community.
